A total of 204 crew members from the Iranian navy vessel IRIS Bushehr, which was near Sri Lanka’s territorial waters, have been safely evacuated by the Sri Lanka Navy and transported to Colombo Port.

The crew members were rescued following a successful evacuation operation conducted by the Sri Lanka Navy.

The Navy Spokesman confirmed that all personnel were brought to Colombo safely and are receiving appropriate assistance.
